Maintenance Technician – Textile Carding Machine Wire & Flats

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection regularly and use device to test quality of sliver out from carding machine, to test the condition of wire & flats;
  • Monitor wire & flats during normal operation by touching tips of wire & flats, visual inspection, and by using magnifying glass;
  • Check sliver specs regularly to test the operational quality of wire & flats;
  • Create maintenance schedule for wire & flats, implement work strictly according to schedule;
  • Re-cloth wire & flats strictly according to maintenance schedule, ensure accurate processing manufacturing, and safety operation;
  • Repair wire & flats locally in certain location if damage detected during regular inspection, to ensure the high-quality performance and long term consistency of manufacturing;
  • Analyze wire & flats performance and condition during operation, research solutions of improving quality of manufacturing and extending high-quality performance duration;
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor;

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years experience in maintenance on textile carding machine in large scale textile company;
  • More than 3 years experience in maintenance of wire & flats, and with solid experience in re-clothing of wire & flats, and independent operating experience;
  • With more than 5 years experience of carding clothing local repair and replacement;
  • Capable with precision welding skills.

Machine Operator

Salary: $10.00 /hour
Shift: 12 hour
Working Schedule: 2-3-2 schedule. 2-on 3-off 2-on, and 2-off 3-on 2-off.

 Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Light to moderate physical effort required.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, reach and move around the facility.
  • Candidate must be able to work in a loud, warm environment with cotton dust.

Pre-Employment Tests:

  • Background Check.  Any felony, drug related and work violence related charges are not acceptable.
  • Drug Screen must be negative on 5-panel drug test
  • Breathing Test must pass the test after exposed in cotton dust environment for 4 hours.

 

Management Trainee

This position will be trained on the entire process of cotton yarn manufacturing and will be promoted to supervisor, production manager or plant manager in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on a production and production workers.
  • Meet the goals of production each period.
  • Maintain all machines in good condition.
  • Work on training and evaluation of the employees.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual fluent in both Mandarin and English.
  • Able to work in fast-paced condition,
  • Management or manufacturing experience not required, but preferred.
  • College degree not required. but preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

 

Shift Supervisor

Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
Ensure smooth production operation per shift

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
  • Train and coach production line employees.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews.
  • Coordinate production startups, shutdowns and change overs.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
  • Schedule and conduct safety meetings.
  • Responsible to meet shift production goals.
  • Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Manager.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete shift paperwork.
  • Always use proper tools, equipment & PPE for the task at hand.
  • Report any production or quality issues to management immediately.
  • Report any unsafe work practices or conditions to management immediately.
  • Perform all other job duties as assigned by the Management.
  • Responsible for shift schedule to include:
    • workstation assignments/rotations
    • employee training
    • employee vacations
    • employee breaks
    • overtime assignment
    • back up for absent employees
    • shift rotations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate degree
  • Production Management: 1 year
  • Spanish, Chinese
